UNMANNED AIRCRAFT PILOT COURSE (UAPC03) - UAPL Class A Rotorcraft

This 5 day course aims to prepare the learner with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate a helicopter which are necessary to obtain a Class A Rotorcraft UAPL.  It enables the learner to gain in-depth understanding on the pilot competency to operate a helicopter safely.  

Learner shall undergo intensive flying practice with a helicopter.

Pre-requisite:
1) Attended UAPC01 and UAPC02 or equivalent; or
2) UAPL Class A Rotorcraft (Limited to Multi-Rotor only)

Module 1: Operating Procedures for RC Helicopter

Module 2: Flight Simulator

Practical Sessions (10 hours)

Practical Session 1: Hovering

Practical Session 2: Precision Landing

Practical Session 3: Hovering (Orientation)

Practical Session 4: Circuit Training (Basic)

Practical Session 5: Circuit Training (Basic)

Practical Session 6: Circuit Training (Basic)

Practical Session 7: Circuit Training (Advanced)

Internal Assessment (1 hour)
